3D & 4D Digitize for Appliqué

This is for the Husqvarna Viking / Pfaff software. To fully use this CD and digitize for appliqué, you must have the Digitizing part of the software.  You will learn various types of  appliqué. Included is the basic appliqué, over the edge appliqué, double appliqué, reverse appliqué, and quilted appliqué. By learning these different appliqué digitizing techniques you will be able to make diverse and interesting appliqué designs.

Over the edge appliqué can be very elegant and beyond the ordinary. Double appliqué is a favorite with the teens. You will be able to do those appliqué words which have the shape of the word as a second appliqué layer. They  are wonderful for school letters and team names. Reverse appliqué is often seen on blue jean material which frays along the edge and then you see the printed material below in the reverse part of the appliqué. Quilted appliqué gives a neat look as an embossed look. I tell you my secret techniques so the quilted batting doesn't poke through the satin borders.

I will demonstrate the Wizard and automatic appliqué method for the 4D Embroidery. However I will show you why the manual way of doing appliqué gives much better results. There will be an extra video included for 3D to show you how to do the same thing with the 3D's different tools.

You will learn tricks and tips to make the digitizing the best and easiest way for appliqué. Graphics are included so you can follow along step by step.
